My Immortal

Thought of this idea a few days before completion since other music got me inspired to just draw something but I couldn't think of anything good enough. So I ended up sitting at the computer with my drawing tablet in front of me getting frustrated over what to draw until my playlist played My Immortal ~Evanescence and then this wild thing appeared!

So as you can see, I've been using different techniques to make my art stand out and not look so bland as it did before with absolute no shading at all and too cartoonish... So you can see that I'm starting to use more shading where necessary and the eyes are more detailed as well as the hair with making it individual strands (not bad for a first try huh? )

Anyway, it's Pitch Pearl/Angst, well I think it is... you may have to listen to the song to actually start crying while looking at this picture But, does it match the song? Is it sad?
