Danny saw the huge crowd of people surrounding his place; he hoped to find his family and friends amongst them. It was his top concern at that moment. He wanted to make sure that everyone he cared about was safe first before he started fighting the ghosts that were infesting Amity Park.

"I hope I can find them amongst this crowd. Dad shouldn't be too hard to find." He said to himself knowing how large his father was.

So he walked through the crowd of people to get inside his house, he heard a few whispers from some of them as he walked past them. The noise quietened down when they saw Danny walking through the crowd. He felt confused as to why they were acting this way around him, he wanted to ask, but he wanted to make sure his family and friends were safe first.

"Man, I've got to ask these people why they're all looking at me like that; I hope they don't know about..." He thought to himself with an anxious expression on his face.

The first place he went to was downstairs to the lab; he was very relieved to find his father down there.

"Dad!"

Jack gasped at the sound of his son's voice. "Danny, what are you doing here? But I thought..." he asked in a worried tone.

"Too long to explain now Dad, where's Mum and Jazz? And Tucker and Sam?"

Jack bit his lower lip in nervousness of whether to tell him the truth or not, but knew that he would never lie to his son unless it was for a good reason. So he spoke the truth.

"They went after you; they're in the ghost zone!"

"They're what?!" Danny cried tightly grabbing his hair in shock and immediate worry. "All of them!?"

"Well, I'm not sure where your friend Tucker is. But the girls are looking for you in the ghost zone." Jack explained pointing to the portal.

Danny looked at the portal and saw that it was wide open; Danny raised an eyebrow in confusion of why it was open. He wanted to ask before finding out, but went to investigate it first. He saw what was causing the ghost portal to remain open, he looked at his father sincerely before looking over at the control panel, and he saw that there was no way to close it.

"Dad, what happened to the portal?"

Jack felt worried to tell him, what he had done. But he knew he had to.

"Well...you'll have to tell me. I think you're the reason why the portal is stuck like that."

"What!?" Danny cried.

Danny then remembered that he heard something as he was going through the ghost portal earlier, it was then that he realised that he was the reason behind the ghosts being set loose in Amity Park. Danny was in a state of mental shock, Jack wanted to assure him, but didn't know what to say or do that would make him feel any better.

"Oh no..."He stuttered with much widened eyes in shock. "What have I done...?"

It took a moment for Danny to take it all in at once; it was a very slow and mentally painful feeling deep within himself. He didn't want to believe it, but his memory of that sudden click of sound before he saw the other side of the portal made his doubts want to be believed in but were nearly impossible to believe in anymore.

Jack went over to comfort him; he wanted to assure Danny that everything was going to turn out alright in time.

"I know you can fix it, boy."

Danny felt surprised that his father was acting this way, he didn't realise how much faith his father had in him. He thought it must have been since he's been fighting ghosts all this time. But then again, his father would support him either way.

"You think so?"

Jack nodded in reply. He smiled proudly at his son before going back over to the machine that was controlling the ghost shield. Then, Danny was about to transform to go fight the ghosts before he realised he hadn't found Tucker and the girls. So before the two rings could reveal his ghost half, he reverted back to his human self and asked his father for some ghost hunting equipment.

"Dad, I think I'll need help when I'm looking for them."

Jack was unsure of who he was looking for first, he was unaware of Tucker's location and was certain that he wasn't with the three girls.

"Who are you looking for first?" He asked needing a clear idea of what Danny was preparing to do.

"I'm going to look for Tucker, and then I'll find the others. You can help too." He said wanting to acknowledge his father.

Jack sighed and looked down in doubt, he smiled briefly in thanking him for thinking about him, but then his expression returned to sincere.

"Sorry, Danny. You're going to have to find them on your own. You probably know that place better than I do, and I don't know how I'll get there either; I can't just walk in there." Jack exclaimed.

Danny felt saddened and slightly neglected; he wanted his father to help in any way he could. He wanted his help, but felt upset when his father said he couldn't help him, he looked down and sighed.

"Okay, I'll find them on my own."

"I have faith in you my boy." Jack said proudly.

Danny smiled, he felt happy that his father was acting like a real father should be acting like.

"Thanks Dad, I'll be back as soon as I can."

Jack finally figured out which way Danny was going, he was going to find Tucker first since he went back upstairs with a ghost weapon strapped to his back. Danny ran through the crowd and outside to the darkened skies where the ghosts tried to pierce the ghost shield but were not able.

"Tucker!' He began to call as he neared the edge of the ghost shield.

As Danny continued to call out to his friend, he thought about the girls, especially Sam who was in the ghost zone looking for him. He shed a tear in thought of never finding them, but then remained focused on finding Tucker first so he could help Danny find the three girls.

As soon as he was outside the ghost portal, he hid somewhere to transform into his ghost half and began to fly around town; his ghost sense went off several times alerting him about almost every ghost that was lurking around his area. He grew annoyed every time a wisp of cool air escaped his mouth.

Eventually, after a few long minutes of searching, Danny heard a cry for help and it sounded very familiar. He couldn't tell but he was hoping that it was Tucker. So he followed the sound of the screaming voice and then knew exactly who it was, he sighed in relief before going into the abandoned building to see Tucker and several other people trapped all in one room.

"Tucker!" He called out once more as he stuck his head through a window to one of the rooms.

"Danny, is that you?"

Danny knew for sure now that it was Tucker, he flew inside the building and saw that the other side of the room was very poorly lit and murky, Danny couldn't see anything but did see some movement. He used a small light from his ghost ray to use as a torch to see over there.

Danny called out again to make sure, Tucker responded in a small panic since Danny doesn't know why all these people including Danny's best friend were all in this place.

Soon enough, Danny was able to reach up to Tucker and saw that his leg was still in its casing from when he was still in hospital and saw that his arms were tied around his back. Danny examined the other people nearby and saw that they were in the exact same position as Tucker was.

"What are you all doing here?" Danny asked to all of them.

As Danny untied Tucker first, and was about to get a response from one of the people, an explosion occurred right where Danny was just under a minute ago. And as the smoke radiated from the explosion, the sound of metal and a weapon being lowered made it clear to Danny who was the reason behind these trapped people.

Danny got back up and stood his ground with determination.

"Skulker." He stated, confirming who was the cause for the explosion and all these people for being trapped in this room.

"Correct, my prey. These were small gifts for me, but you are the grand prize." He explained with a smile of determination as he raised one of his weapons at Danny.

Danny gasped before assuming a fighting stance, his hands lit up with a green fiery rage and he aimed them directly at Skulker who had aimed one of his weapons at the ghost boy and was beginning to fire it.

The ghost boy merely missed the blast from Skulker and threw a ghost blast back at him causing him to fall off the edge of the broken half of the building and towards the ground which was more than two storeys down. Danny followed Skulker and continued to fight the ghost zone's greatest hunter.

While Danny fought Skulker outside, Tucker managed to help everyone else get out of their ropes, but he was unable to move since his leg was still too broken for him to walk. But thankfully, he had the assistance of the others. They helped Tucker escape the building and find shelter elsewhere.

Meanwhile, in another time zone, the three girls were in panic of what to do now that they were stuck in this time period. Maddie had told the girls to climb back into the specter speeder and Maddie would fly them around the sky away from the Native Americans so they wouldn't be seen and they would try to find the portal that they went through.

"It's gone; I thought I made that clear!" Sam cried feeling that looking for the portal again was hopeless.

"I understand what you mean Sam, another portal could show up at any minute taking us back to the ghost zone." Maddie explained feeling confident in getting out of this time period.

"Are you certain that would happen mum? I don't have doubt in you, I'm just saying that we don't know much about this ghost dimension and we could be stuck here." Jazz stated, being realistic about the situation.

Maddie began to lose confidence in herself, she knew that she as well as the two girls didn't know the ghost zone as well as Danny does. So she silently drove back down to the ground further away from the Native Americans and didn't say another word, as she was saddened to say anything.

Jazz and Sam looked at each other in worry of every getting back home, and while Jazz comforted her mother, Sam huddled herself up in the corner and closed her eyes as small tears of sadness and loss rolled down her cheeks. She didn't expect to be stuck somewhere forever without seeing Danny, or Tucker, or even her family. She began to miss them all greatly.

"Don't worry mum, we'll figure a way out of this."

Maddie rubbed her nose before taking in a deep breath to calm herself.

"Yes, we will. I'm going back outside to look for more of those traces of ectoplasm. You two can stay here, but if you must, take a ghost weapon with you when you leave the specter speeder."

Sam looked up and nodded at Maddie in assurance that she had heard what she said; Jazz looked at Sam and saw that she seemed upset, she wanted to comfort her, but knew what Sam was like, even though she didn't know much about her.

So Maddie went outside with her ectoplasm detector and began to pick up traces again, but this time they were very close. Maddie grew confident and prepared to find this ghost, she followed the traces that the detector was picking up; they grew stronger by the second. And before Maddie realised it, she was standing in front of a ghost that was as old as time, but then seemed to look younger within an instant.
